AN ACT relating to the sale of the Lakes Region Facility.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relating to the sale of the Lakes Region Facility.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

205:1 New Paragraph; Sale of Lakes Region; Restrictions. Amend RSA 10:11 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. If the sale of the Lakes Region Facility includes the portion that includes the parcel identified as 50-67 Communication Drive containing a state 911 call center and Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid, then American Rescue Plan Act funds may be used to the extent possible, and a portion of the proceeds of the sale may be used to relocate this facility to a new location. Relocation shall include purchase of land, if necessary, and the renovation or construction of a new facility.

205:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
