STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to the use of open source software by state agencies.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

44:1 Department of Information Technology; Open Standards; Use of Technology Solutions by State Agencies. Amend RSA 21-R:11, I(a) to read as follows:

(a) Consider whether technology solutions containing proprietary or open source software offer the most cost effective[ technology] solution for the agency, based on consideration of all associated acquisition, support, maintenance, and training costs;

44:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
