STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT apportioning congressional districts.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 U.S. Representative Districts. RSA 662:1 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

662:1 U.S. Representative Districts. The state is divided into 2 districts for the choosing of representatives in the congress of the United States. Each district may elect one representative. The districts shall be constituted as follows:

I. The first district is constituted of:

(a) The counties of:

(1) Belknap,

(2) Rockingham, and

(3) Strafford,

(b) In the county of Carroll, the towns of:

(1) Brookfield,

(2) Effingham,

(3) Moultonborough,

(4) Ossipee,

(5) Tuftonboro,

(6) Wakefield, and

(7) Wolfeboro.

(c) In the county of Hillsborough, the towns of:

(1) Bedford,

(2) Hudson,

(3) Litchfield,

(4) Merrimack, and

(5) Pelham.

(d) In the county of Merrimack, the towns and city of:

(1) Allenstown,

(2) Andover,

(3) Canterbury,

(4) Chichester,

(5) Epsom,

(6) Franklin,

(7) Hill,

(8) Hooksett,

(9) Loudon,

(10) Northfield, and

(11) Pittsfield.

II. The second district is constituted of:

(a) The counties of:

(1) Cheshire,

(2) Coos,

(3) Grafton, and

(4) Sullivan.

(b) In the county of Carroll, the towns of:

(1) Albany,

(2) Bartlett,

(3) Chatham,

(4) Conway,

(5) Eaton,

(6) Freedom,

(7) Hale's Location,

(8) Hart's Location,

(9) Jackson,

(10) Madison,

(11) Sandwich, and

(12) Tamworth.

(c) In the county of Hillsborough, the towns and cities of:

(1) Amherst,

(2) Antrim,

(3) Bennington,

(4) Brookline,

(5) Deering,

(6) Francestown,

(7) Goffstown,

(8) Greenfield,

(9) Greenville,

(10) Hancock,

(11) Hillsborough,

(12) Hollis,

(13) Lyndeborough,

(14) Manchester,

(15) Mason,

(16) Milford,

(17) Mont Vernon,

(18) Nashua,

(19) New Boston,

(20) New Ipswich,

(21) Peterborough,

(22) Sharon,

(d) In the county of Merrimack, the towns and city of:

(8) Hopkinton,

(9) New London,

(10) Newbury,

(11) Pembroke,

(12) Salisbury,

(13) Sutton,

(14) Warner,

(15) Webster, and

(16) Wilmot.

2 Application. This act shall in no way disqualify any person from any elective office to which he or she was elected prior to the effective date of this act.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
