AN ACT relative to training as a certified service plumber.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to training as a certified service plumber.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Mechanical Licensing; Certified Service Plumber. Amend RSA 153:27 by inserting after paragraph I the following new paragraph:

I-a. "Certified service plumber" means any person who as a plumbing apprentice has completed at least 2,080 hours of direct supervision by a certified service plumber or journeyman plumber of incidental repair, installation, and maintenance of plumbing as defined in rules adopted by the board.

2 New Subparagraph; Mechanical Licensing Board; Rulemaking. Amend RSA 153:28, I(a) by inserting after subparagraph (9) the following new subparagraph:

(10) Certified service plumber.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2023.
