STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three

AN ACT relative to fire insurance contracts.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

120:1 Fire Insurance Contracts and Suits Thereon; Combination Coverages. Amend the introductory paragraph of RSA 407:2-a to read as follows:

407:2-a Combination Coverages. Any policy or contract otherwise subject to RSA 407:2, which includes [either on an unspecified basis as to the coverage or for a single premium] coverage against the peril of fire and substantial coverage against other perils, need not comply with the provisions of RSA 407:2, provided:

120:2 Repeal. RSA 407:7, relative to forms for other insurance, is repealed.

120:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
