STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three

AN ACT relative to criminal background checks for charitable games of chance license applicants.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

69:1 New Paragraph; Games of Chance; Background and Criminal Records Check. Amend RSA 287-D:12 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:

VII. Members of a charitable organization that do not participate directly in the operation of games of chance shall be exempt from the requirements of this section.

69:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2024.
