AN ACT relative to the responsibilities of insurers in conducting reviews of the operations of administrators.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three
AN ACT relative to the responsibilities of insurers in conducting reviews of the operations of administrators.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
210:1 Third Party Administrators; Responsibilities of the Insurer. Amend RSA 402-H:6, III to read as follows:
III. In cases in which an administrator administers benefits for more than 100 certificate holders on behalf of an insurer, the insurer shall, at least semi-annually, conduct [a review] an on-site or virtual audit of the operations of the administrator. [At least one such review shall be an on-site audit of the operations of the administrator.]
210:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
