STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

AN ACT prohibiting the repricing of heating fuel subsequent to a concluded sale.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Home Heating Fuel Delivery; Repricing Prohibited. Amend RSA 339 by inserting after section 339:79 the following new section:

339:80 Prohibited Repricing. No heating fuel dealer or agent of a dealer shall reprice fuel above a previously quoted price after a concluded sale, meaning a sale agreed to at a quoted price and paid for at that price prior to delivery.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
