STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

AN ACT relative to credit card notifications.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Consumer Credit; Credit Card Issuer; Notification. Amend RSA 358-K by inserting after section 4-a the following new section:

358-K:4-b Required Notification; Change of Issuer. Prior to a change in an issuer or servicer of a consumer credit card, the creditor shall provide notification to all holders of such credit card in this state at least 90 days before the effective date of a change in such issuer or servicer.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
