AN ACT relative to the placement of temporary seasonal docks.
AMENDED ANALYSIS

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three
AN ACT relative to the placement of temporary seasonal docks.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraphs; Endangered Species Conservation Act. Amend RSA 212-A:2 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraphs:
VI. "Temporary seasonal docks" mean structures installed on any lake or pond that comply with the requirements in RSA 482-A:3, IV-a(a).
VII. "Anchored seasonal platform" means "anchored seasonal platform" as defined in RSA 270:72-b, I.
2 Wildlife Species; Rules. Amend RSA 212-A:5, IV to read as follows:
IV. The executive director may adopt and enforce rules temporarily restricting boat traffic, or the use of temporary seasonal docks and anchored seasonal platforms, on any waters of this state as the executive director deems necessary to protect any threatened or endangered species of wildlife in the earliest stages of life.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
