STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

A RESOLUTION declaring an economic justice bill of rights.

Whereas, the New Hampshire House of Representatives declares that a new economic justice bill of rights for New Hampshire shall include support for the following:

I. An equitable, living income and livelihood;

II. A union, public or private, and collective bargaining power;

III. Affordable and accessible high-quality health care;

IV. Equitable and accessible public education and child care;

V. Pollution-free water and a healthy planet;

VI. High-quality, safe housing;

VII. Reliable, climate-friendly transportation;

VIII. A fair and equitable justice system;

IX. Life, self-determination, and liberation regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability status, and age; and

X. To live free from fear of racial, religious, and gender oppression; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives: that the New Hampshire house of representatives supports the enshrining of an economic bill of rights in the New Hampshire constitution.
