STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four
AN ACT making an appropriation to address damage done to the seacoast during January storms.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Appropriation; Department of Safety; Flood Damage. A sum of $1 is hereby appropriated to the department of safety, bureau of emergency management, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, for the purpose of funding grants to Hampton, North Hampton, Rye, New Castle, Portsmouth, and Seabrook, for infrastructure repairs in areas damaged by flooding in January 2024. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
