Circuit Court - Rules of the Circuit Court of the State of New Hampshire -- Probate Division - Rule 68. PROCEDURE DURING TRIAL - Criminal Record.
If a Party plans to use or refer to any criminal record, for the purpose of attacking or affecting the credibility of a witness, the Pro Se Party or Attorney shall first furnish a copy of same to the opposing Party or Attorney, and then obtain a ruling from the Court as to whether the witness may be questioned with regard to any conviction for credibility purposes. Evidence of a conviction under this rule shall not be admissible unless there is introduced a certified record of the judgment of conviction indicating that the witness was represented by counsel at the time of the conviction unless counsel was waived.
