Notice by publication . The Party or the Attorney for the Party from whom the notice is required shall pay this $55.00 fee for all Petition for Estate Administration for estates over $10,000. This fee is included in the Entry Fee. The request may require that payment be made directly to the publisher of the notice. (III) ENTRY FEES DO NOT INCLUDE: In-hand service . If service by a law enforcement officer is required, the Party or the Attorney for the Party from whom the notice is required shall pay the cost of service to the appropriate county sheriff's department. Additional copies . If additional copies of any document, or additional certificates are requested beyond those included in normal processing as indicated above, the Party or the Attorney for the Party requesting the additional copies shall pay the costs in advance as indicated under "Certificates & Copies." (VI) RECORDS RESEARCH FEES: Records Research Fees. Record information must be requested in writing and include the individual’s full name and, if available, the individual's date of birth. A fee of $6.50 per name will be assessed The clerk may waive the records research fee when a request for record information is made by a member of the media consistent with the public's right to access court records under the New Hampshire Constitution. (VII) ELECTRONIC CASE FILING SURCHARGE The sum of $30.00 is included in the amount listed in paragraph (I) above for Petition File and Record Authenticated Copy of Will, Foreign Wills; Petition Estate Administration for estates with a gross value greater than $25,000; Petition Guardian (RSA 464-A); Petition Guardian Minor Estate and Person and Estate (RSA 463); Petition Estate Administration for estates having a gross value of $25,000 or less; Petition Estate Administration for estates having a gross value of $10,000 or less; Petition Change of Name (includes one Certificate); and Petition to Prove Will (During Life of Testator) (no administration) Note: The electronic case filing surcharge is not an entry fee subject to the escrow fund for court facility improvements or the judicial branch information technology fund. All revenue from the electronic case filing surcharge shall be deposited into the general fund to partly offset capital fund expenditures for the NH e-Court Project. (VIII) Service Charge (a) The court may collect payment by credit card or debit card for any fee amount being paid pursuant to any of the paragraphs above or for any other fee, surcharge, fine, assessment, or other amount being paid to or into the court. (b) For each payment made by credit card through any payment system, and for each payment made by debit card through an electronic filing system, a service charge shall be imposed on the person making the payment. When the payment system used for collection of the payment is a judicial branch credit card terminal, “service charge” refers to a credit card surcharge. When the payment system used for collection of the payment is an electronic filing system, “service charge” refers to the handling charge, payment service fee, or e-payment fee (however denominated in that electronic filing system). (c) The amount of the service charge may vary based on the specific payment system used for collection of the payment. The amount of the service charge shall not be refundable when payment is made through an electronic filing system.
