Superior Court - Rules of The Superior Court of the State of New Hampshire - Rule 201. Fees.

(I) The appropriate fee must accompany all filings. All fees shall be consolidated into a single payment, when possible. (IV) Records Research Fees: (A) Record information must be requested in writing and include the individual's full name and, if available, the individual's date of birth. A fee of $6.50 per name will be assessed. (B) The Clerk may waive the records research fee when a request for record information is made by a member of the media consistent with the public's right to access court records under the New Hampshire Constitution. (V) Electronic Case Filing Surcharge $30 Note: The electronic case filing surcharge is not an entry fee subject to the escrow fund for court facility improvements or the judicial branch information technology fund. All revenue from the electronic case filing surcharge shall be deposited into the general fund to partly offset capital fund expenditures for the NH e-Court Project. (VI) Service Charge (A) The court may collect payment by credit card or debit card for any fee amount being paid pursuant to any of the paragraphs above or for any other fee, surcharge, fine, assessment, or other amount being paid to or into the court. (B) For each payment made by credit card through any payment system, and for each payment made by debit card through an electronic filing system, a service charge shall be imposed on the person making the payment. When the payment system used for collection of the payment is a judicial branch credit card terminal, “service charge” refers to a credit card surcharge. When the payment system used for collection of the payment is an electronic filing system, “service charge” refers to the handling charge, payment service fee, or e-payment fee (however denominated in that electronic filing system). (C) The amount of the service charge may vary based on the specific payment system used for collection of the payment. The amount of the service charge shall not be refundable when payment is made through an electronic filing system.
