In accordance with Supreme Court Rule 37(12), on August 10, 2021, the New Hampshire Supreme Court ruled that the above captioned reciprocal discipline matter from the Supreme Court of the State of Arizona warrants the issuance of a public censure with a one-year period of probation. The Court remanded the matter to the Professional Conduct Committee (“the Committee”) for the issuance of a public censure. The Arizona Court’s Order states, in part: The admissions in the Agreement constitute grounds for imposing the stipulated sanction. Mr. Siegel was hired in 2018 to represent a client in a Lemon Law matter. Thereafter, Mr. Siegel failed to diligently represent and directly communicate with his client for extended periods of time. He further failed to supervise his non-lawyer associates. Mr. Siegel negligently violated his duty to the client and the profession causing potential harm. The Agreement includes a discussion of the grounds in consultation with the American Bar Association’s Standards For Imposing Lawyer Sanctions. . . . The parties stipulate to reprimand [which is a public censure in this state], one year probation (LOMAP), and Mr. Siegel shall pay of costs totaling $1200.00 within thirty days from the date of this order. p. 2 dated December 15, 2020. The public censure is issued subject to the same conditions Attorney Siegel must complete in conjunction with the Arizona reprimand.
