SUPREME COURT
ORDER LD-2025-0002, In the Matter of Lisa Anne Urovitch, Esquire On March 17, 2025, the Attorney Discipline Office (ADO) filed a certified copy of a Merrimack County Superior Court record establishing the criminal conviction of the respondent, Attorney Lisa Anne Urovitch, on one class A misdemeanor count of voter fraud (RSA 659: 34, I(a); RSA 659: 34, II). In particular, the superior court record establishes that the respondent pleaded guilty to a charge that she knowingly made a false material statement regarding her qualifications as a voter to an election officer when obtaining an official ballot or when casting a vote by official ballot. Having reviewed the ADO’s filing, we agree with the ADO that the respondent’s conviction constitutes a “serious crime, ” as defined by Supreme Court Rule 37(9)(b), and that her immediate suspension is necessary to protect the public and to preserve the integrity of the legal profession, see Rule 37(9)(a) and (c); Rule 37(16)(f). Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that: (1) In accordance with Rule 37(9)(a) and (c), the respondent, Lisa Anne Urovitch, is immediately suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire until further order of this court; (2) Copies of this order and of the ADO’s filing shall be served on the respondent by first-class mail and certified mail at the latest address provided by her to the New Hampshire Bar Association, see Rule 42 E(c); and (3) In accordance with Rule 37(9)(d), the respondent shall show cause on or before April 21, 2025, why she should not be disbarred as a result of the conviction.
