103:18-b Benefit Assignments, Etc. –
Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, benefits or compensation due hereunder shall be subject to any attachment, assignment, and execution to the same extent as such rights under private retirement systems. No approval from the board shall be required for such assignments.
