110-B:1 Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services. –

I.

The department shall consist of the militia which shall include the army national guard, air national guard, the inactive national guard, the state guard, and the unorganized militia, and veterans services which shall include the division of veterans services, the state veterans cemetery, the division of community based military programs, the veterans council, and the military leadership team.

II.

The department shall be led by an adjutant general who shall be the commissioner of the department of military affairs and veterans services.

III.
