RSA 125-F:2 · Purpose
125-F:2 Purpose. – The purpose of this chapter is to effectuate the policy set forth in RSA 125-F:1 by providing:
Copy linkA program of effective regulation of sources of radiation to protect the occupational and public health and safety.
Copy linkA program to promote an orderly regulatory pattern within the state, among the states, and between the federal government and the state, to facilitate intergovernmental cooperation with respect to use and regulation of sources of radiation and to avoid duplication of regulation.
Copy linkA program to establish procedures for assumption and performance of certain regulatory responsibilities with respect to naturally occurring, artificially produced, byproduct, source, and special nuclear materials and radiation equipment.
