21-P:28 Powers and Duties. –
Copy linkAct upon request as the advisory committee to the state board of education concerning any fire educational programs.
Copy linkRequire submission of reports and information from fire departments within the state that may be pertinent to the functioning of the commission.
Copy linkIn coordination with the division of fire standards and training and emergency medical services, make such investigations as may be necessary to determine whether governmental units are complying with the provisions of this subdivision.
Copy linkMake or cause to be made studies of any aspect of fire service, education, operations, training, research or recruitment;
Copy linkRecommend to the director of the division of fire standards and training and emergency medical services that he enter into contracts or do such things as may be necessary and incidental to the administration of the commission's authority pursuant to this subdivision;
Copy linkUndertake any project and engage in any activity which will serve to improve public fire safety or public safety; and
