228:20 Offices; Assistants. –
The commissioner shall be provided with suitable quarters for his office and that of the department and may employ such expert, clerical and other assistance as he may deem necessary to carry out the duties incumbent upon his office, subject to the regulations of the state employees' personnel commission as to compensation.
