RSA 259:56-b · Mobile Service Garage

259:56-b Mobile Service Garage. – "Mobile service garage" shall mean a vehicle, whether motorized or non-motorized, designed specifically for the purpose of servicing motor vehicles and that:

Contains an automotive lift, rated for at least 9,000 pounds, as an integral part of the vehicle.

Meets all applicable hazardous waste permitting requirements of the New Hampshire department of environmental services and the New Hampshire department of transportation.

Is equipped with a functioning GPS tracking device.

IV.

When in operation, has Internet connectivity.

V.

When in operation, has a minimal overall width of 12 feet and a minimal overall length of 25 feet.

When in operation, has an enclosed, unobstructed work area at least 15 feet wide and at least 20 feet long.

Is covered by an active commercial automotive insurance policy with a liability limit of at least $1,000,000.

Is operated by a business that:

Is registered and in good standing with the New Hampshire secretary of state.

Has an active general liability insurance policy with limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and at least $2,000,000 general aggregate.

Has an office, staffed at regular, posted hours that provides access to state inspection records and that maintains a schedule for the following 7 calendar days of times and locations for each mobile service garage under its operation that performs state inspections.
