304-C:181 Service of Process on Registered Foreign Limited Liability Companies. –

A foreign limited liability company's registered agent is the agent for service of process, notice, or demand required or permitted by law to be served on the foreign limited liability company.

II.

If a foreign limited liability company has no registered agent, or the agent cannot with reasonable diligence be served, the foreign limited liability company may be served by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed to the foreign limited liability company at its principal office. Service is perfected under this section at the earliest of:

The date the foreign limited liability company receives the mail;

The date shown on the return receipt, if signed on behalf of the foreign limited liability company; or

(c)

Five days after its deposit in the United States mail, as evidenced by the postmark, if mailed postpaid and correctly addressed.
