318-B:17-e Drug Asset Forfeiture Guidelines Required. – The department of justice shall adopt and maintain drug asset forfeiture guidelines. The attorney general shall submit the guidelines and any proposed amendments to such guidelines to the house judiciary and family law committee and to the senate judiciary committee for review and comment at least as often as annually. The attorney general shall submit any proposed amendments to the guidelines for legislative review and comment prior to their becoming effective. Source. 1994, 343:4. 1995, 9:39, eff. June 11, 1995.
