326-B:36 Emergency Treatment; Assisting the Board; Immunity From Civil Liability. –

I.

No person licensed to practice under this chapter or under the laws of any other state who, in good faith, renders emergency care at the scene of an emergency, which occurs outside both the place and the course of employment, shall be liable for any civil damages as a result of acts or omissions in rendering such emergency care, or as a result of any act or failure to act to provide or arrange for further medical treatment or care.

II.

Any person acting in good faith shall be immune from civil liability to a licensee or an applicant for licensure for making any report or other information available to the board or assisting the board in carrying out any of its duties.

Nurses licensed in other states who respond to emergencies in New Hampshire during a civil disaster event shall be immune from civil liability and board action for acts or omissions in rendering such emergency care, or as a result of any act or failure to act to provide or arrange for further medical treatment or care.
