331-A:12 Application for Licensure. –

The form for an individual applying for a license shall include affidavits from 3 character references. No person who is related by blood or marriage to an applicant may serve as a character reference on the application, and this restriction shall appear on the application form.

III.

The commission may require each applicant to provide on the form additional information about the applicant's background and trustworthiness as is reasonably necessary to fairly inform a person requested to sign the application as a character reference and to fully complete the application before the character affidavits are signed.

IV.

Applicants for a broker license for a corporation, partnership or association shall designate on the application form a duly licensed broker within the partnership or corporation who shall serve as the principal broker for the firm.
