374:22-j Duties of the Oversight Committee. – The committee's duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Examining the issue of the resale of telecommunications services and the feasibility of facilitating the resale process.

Considering the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of installing certain high-speed telecommunications lines.

Exploring the feasibility of establishing special rates for educational institutions, to the extent that it has not occurred.

Examining the issue of rural access and delivery.

Examining the expansion of internet access to all parts of New Hampshire, including rural areas.

Submitting a report, together with any recommendations for legislation, to the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, and the governor on or before November 1 of each year.

Studying the implementation of a statewide emergency notification system which is appropriate for both state and local needs and considering possible funding sources for such system.
