411-A:1 Purpose and Construction of Chapter. –

I.
The purpose of this chapter is to protect the interest of insurers and the public, by providing standards for the investment of the assets of life insurance companies, which standards seek an appropriate balance of the following objectives: safety of principal, maximum appreciation and yield, stability of value, sufficient liquidity and reasonable diversification.
