412:2 Scope of Chapter. –

This chapter applies to all classes of property and casualty insurance that are now or may hereafter be written in any combination on risks or operations located in this state under the provisions of RSA 401:1, I, II, V, VI, VII, and VIII and any miscellaneous insurance under RSA 401:1-a that is designated by the commissioner to be regulated under this chapter.

Reinsurance, other than statutorily authorized joint reinsurance mechanisms.

Accident and health insurance.

Life insurance and annuities.

Insurance on vessels or craft, their cargoes, marine builders' risks, marine protection and indemnity, or other risks commonly insured under ocean marine, as determined by the commissioner.
