RSA 415-C:5 · Recordkeeping Requirements
415-C:5 Recordkeeping Requirements. –
Copy linkAn obligor shall keep accurate accounts, books, and records concerning transactions regulated under this chapter.
Copy linkThe name and address of each contract holder to the extent that the contract holder has furnished the name and address.
Copy linkA list of the locations where consumer guaranty contracts are marketed, sold, offered for sale, issued, made, or proposed to be made.
Copy linkClaims files that shall contain at least the date and description of all claims or requests for services or expenditures related to the consumer guaranty contracts.
Copy linkExcept as provided in paragraph II, an obligor shall retain all records required under subparagraph (b) pertaining to each consumer guaranty contract holder for at least 3 years after the specified period of coverage has expired.
Copy linkAn obligor may keep all records required under this chapter on a computer disk or other similar technology. If the records are maintained in other than hard copy, the records shall be capable of duplication to legible hard copy at the request of the commissioner.
Copy linkAn obligor discontinuing business in this state shall maintain its records until it furnishes the commissioner satisfactory proof that it has discharged all obligations to contract holders in this state.
