RSA 427:10 · Commercial Control
427:10 Commercial Control. – No person, firm, or corporation shall, with respect to livestock, or any carcasses, parts of carcasses, meat or meat food products of any such animals:
Copy linkSlaughter any such animals or prepare any such articles which are capable of use as human food at any establishments preparing such articles solely for commerce except in compliance with the requirements of this subdivision.
Copy linkSell, transport, offer for sale or transportation, or receive for transportation, in commerce:
Copy linkAre adulterated or misbranded at the time of such sale, transportation, offer for sale or transportation, or receipt for transportation; or
Copy linkAny articles required to be inspected under this subdivision, unless they have been so inspected and passed, by a certified state meat inspector or a federal meat inspector.
Copy linkDo, with respect to any such articles which are capable of use as human food, any act while they are being transported in commerce or held for sale after such transportation, which is intended to cause or has the effect of causing such articles to be adulterated or misbranded.
Copy linkIn addition, no person, firm, or corporation shall with respect to poultry, meat, or meat products of any such animals:
Copy linkSell, transport, offer for sale or transportation, or receive for transportation, in intrastate commerce, or from an establishment, any slaughtered poultry from which the blood, feathers, feet, head, or viscera have not been removed in accordance with rules adopted by the state veterinarian, except as may be authorized by rules of the commissioner.
Copy linkUse to his or her own advantage, or reveal to other than authorized representatives of the state or any other government, in their official capacity, or as ordered by a court in any judicial proceeding, any information acquired under the authority of this subdivision concerning any matter which is entitled to protection as a trade secret.
