458-A:4 International Application of Chapter. –
Copy linkA court of this state shall treat a foreign country as if it were a state of the United States for the purpose of applying RSA 458-A:1 through RSA 458-A:21.
Copy linkExcept as otherwise provided in paragraph III, a child-custody determination made in a foreign country under factual circumstances in substantial conformity with the jurisdictional standards of this chapter must be recognized and enforced under RSA 458-A:22 through RSA 458-A:38.
