RSA 5-C:65 · Presumptive Death
5-C:65 Presumptive Death. – When a death is presumed to have occurred within the state of New Hampshire but the body cannot be located, a death record shall be prepared by the state registrar upon receipt of a certified copy of an order of a court of competent jurisdiction, indicating the finding of facts. Such death record shall be noted "presumptive," shall include the date of registration, and shall indicate the court and the date of decree. Source. 2005, 268:1, eff. Jan. 1, 2006.
