5-C:84 Matching of Birth and Death Certificates. –

I.

To protect the integrity of vital records and to prevent the fraudulent use of the records of deceased persons, the state registrar and clerks of towns and cities shall, on a monthly basis, match birth and death records and post the facts of death to the appropriate birth record and mark the record as "deceased."

II.
