564-F:5-504 Resignation of the Registered Agent. –

(a)

A foundation's registered agent may resign as registered agent by filing with the secretary of state a notice of resignation.

(b)

The notice of resignation shall set forth:

The foundation's name; and

Copy link

(2)

The registered agent's name.

(c)

The notice of resignation may include a statement that the registered office is also discontinued.

(d)

The secretary of state shall mail a copy of the notice of resignation to the foundation at the foundation's principal office.

(e)

The appointment of the registered agent shall terminate on the earlier of:

Thirty-one days after filing of the notice of resignation with the secretary of state; or

(2)
