660:17-b Recount of Additional Offices on Ballots Involved in Recounts. – For general election recounts of state representative races, the secretary of state's office shall, after recounting the state representative race: I. Conduct an audit of the votes cast on those ballots for President, United States Senate, United States House of Representatives, or governor; II. Conduct such audit using the ballots for 10 of the state representative races to be recounted. The races shall be selected randomly. If less than 10 races are to be recounted, the ballots for each recounted race shall be audited; III. Select the office to be audited for each recount; and IV. Allow a full recount of any race where there is a discrepancy of greater than one percent from the election results reported to the secretary of state. Source. 2022, 262:1, eff.
