9:17-a Limitations. –
Copy linkNotwithstanding the provisions of RSA 9:17, no transfer shall be made from any appropriation items for permanent personal services to any other use or purpose, provided however that this provision shall not supersede the provisions of RSA 99:4.
Copy linkThe provisions of this section shall apply to transfers in general appropriations, capital budget appropriations and in any other special appropriations. [Paragraph III effective until June 30, 2027.]
Copy linkThe department of health and human services may be exempt from the limitations set forth in paragraph I, subject to approval by the fiscal committee of the general court of any transfer of appropriations from permanent personal services to any other use or purpose.
