REQUESTED ACTION
For consideration to be placed on the consent calendar. Pursuant to RSA 110-B: 75, and in
accordance with RSA 4:8, authorize the Department of Military Affairs and Veterans Services to
accept donations of Computer software, MailChimp, brick, paver, bench and plaque engraving.
Catering, stick flags, and HVAC for the Chapel in the amount of $24,256.08 for the New
Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery to be used for the operation, maintenance, and improvement
of the cemetery as listed on the attachment.
EXPLANATION
RSA 110-B:75 states that the Adjutant General is authorized to accept, on behalf of the state, gifts
of money, material, equipment, and/or services for the operation, maintenance, and improvement
of the cemetery, with the concurrence of the governor in accordance with the provisions of RSA
4:8.
Cash donations were made to the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery Association Inc. (NHVCA)
by veterans, veteran families, veteran organizations, and others wishing to support the Veterans
Cemetery. Items were purchased by these groups for the operation, maintenance, and improvement
of the cemetery.
