REQUESTED ACTION
Pursuant to RSA 429:12, authorize the Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food, Division of Plant Industry, to
accept a donation from The Merrimack Valley Beekeepers Association in the amount of $250 for the purpose of
purchasing supplies for Apiary Inspections, effective upon Govemor and Council approval through June 30, 2026.

EXPLANATION
The Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food, Division of Plant Industry, has been given a donation in the total
amount of $250 awarded in accordance with RSA 429:12, which authorizes the Commissioner of Agriculture to
accept any gifts, grants or donations from any source for the purpose of controlling American foulbrood disease of
honeybees and for the purpose of research and control of all bee diseases.
