REQUESTED ACTION
That approval be and hereby is given to the Attorney General to reappoint Brian N.
Greklek-McKeon (Position #9U602, Appropriation #02-20-20-200510-2610-013-500132), as an
Assistant Attorney General at a salary level of $98,280, effective upon Governor and Executive
Council approval or January 22, 2026, whichever is later, for a term ending on January 22, 2031.
98% General Funds and 2% Other Funds.
EXPLANATION
Mr. Greklek-McKeon, a Concord resident, is a member of the New Hampshire Bar. He
earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Behavior, and Law from the College of Saint
Rose in May 2014, and his Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law
in 2017. During law school, he interned at the Concord City Prosecutor's Office (2015), New
Hampshire Supreme Court (2016), Merrimack County Attorney's Office (2016), and United
States Attorney's Office for the District of New Hampshire (2017). Following law school, he
joined the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office as an Assistant County Attorney where he
prosecuted felony criminal offenses. Mr. Greklek-McKeon joined the Department in 2022 and
was assigned to the Criminal Justice Bureau's Drug Prosecution Unit. I plan to continue his
current assignment. His salary will remain the same. His resume is attached.
RSA 21-M:3 and RSA 94:l-a(l)(c)(3) provide that designation of positions, salary levels,
and salary increases for attorneys at the Department of Justice shall be determined by the
Attorney General, subject to approval of the Governor and Council, within appropriations made
to the Department of Justice.
