Requested Action
The Department of Transportation, Bureau of Right-of-Way, requests authorization to pay property
owners $69,204 as documented in the Contemplated Awards list, for amounts exceeding $5,000 for the
period from March 20, 2026, through April 8, 2026, effective upon approval by the Governor and
Council.
Funding is available based on the following: FY 2026

Explanation
The Department of Transportation submits these contemplated award payments for approval to
compensate property owners for impacts from transportation improvement projects. The Department
will make payments in accordance with all applicable State and Federal property acquisition and
relocation regulations.
The land purchased by the Department will be conveyed without any explicit covenants, restrictions, or
permissions regarding hunting, fishing, or other recreational activities, and the applicable local and state
laws will govern such activities.
